Hixon Logging & Tree Service, LLC is an owner/operated family run company. Casey Hixon started this company in 2003. He started with a one-ton dump truck, a tractor, an old chipper, and hard work and determination to turn his one man show into something he is proud of today. We are now proud to offer you services that include crane service, bucket truck work, and skidder needs. Casey’s youngest son, Logan, has worked with him throughout his childhood starting from just riding on his lap operating the tractor to dragging brush, to sharpening a chainsaw, to running the chainsaw, to now being able to do everything “the old man can do.” Logan knew after high school he wanted to work with the family business. He has listened, watched, taken advice, figured things out on his own, put fear aside, and jumped in with both feet to become a skilled, confident, person in his trade of climbing and taking down tree’s. We now have a fleet of chip trucks, chippers, tractors, trailers, skidders, a bucket truck, a log truck, and a crane all housed at our shop on NH Route 175 in Ashland. We have a team of dedicated, hard-working employee’s that work alongside us to help deliver the quality work we are known for. We value our clientele and have many repeat customers. It is important to us that when we leave a job site the customer is happy, the site is clean, and we have performed work we are proud to have the Hixon name associated with. Logan Hixon
Working Foreman
Logan decided at a young age that he wanted a career with the family business at Hixon Logging & Tree Service, LLC. Logan has worked hard and is now a big part of the team. You will find him hanging from the ball at the end of the crane, climbing to the top of a 125' pine tree, or taking a hazardous tree off of a utility line at 2 in the morning. Hixon Logging & Tree Service, LLC is so lucky to know that for years to come it will continue to stay with its founding mission of working hard, honest prices, and quality of service with Logan on the team.
Casey Hixon
Owner/Operator
Casey Hixon is the founder of Hixon Logging & Tree Service, LLC. He was the Supervisor of a crew of approximately 20 employees at a property maintenance company. He worked this job and started working his tree company on the weekends; working seven days a week and putting in long hours until he built up a name for himself before fully branching out on his own. He has proudly been in business since 2003. Each year he has expanded his business into what it is today with employees and a fleet of equipment and a good name for himself.
Sara Hixon
Manager
While the crew is out doing the technical tree work, Sara is back at the office keeping everything running smoothly. With every business there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes from taking down phone messages, accounts payable and receivable, insurance audits, taxes, supply orders, shop maintenance, payroll, website maintenance, employee reporting, and shopping prices on everything; so we can we can keep our pricing down for you. Sara pitches in wherever and whenever she is needed. You may see her dragging brush on a job site, driving a truck and trailer to a job, flagging for traffic control, or at meetings with Casey estimating jobs. She is a true asset to the team!
